To add, there is also a number of schools within the vicinities. These include SRJK (C) Aik Keow Telok Air Tawar, SMK Telok Air Tawar, SK Telok Ayer Tawar and SK Taman Senangan.
Accessibility wise, Butterworth town is under 15 minutes from Taman Ratna via Jalan Teluk Air Tawar and the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR). The BORR is also the route which will connect Taman Ratna to other towns on the mainland, such as Seberang Perai, about 20 minutes down south. The first Penang bridge is then accessible from there.
