Ujung Pelangi Sdn Bhd was established in 1991. The first project undertaken by Ujung Pelangi was at Jalan Khaw Sim Bee; the building of a block of 12 unit apartment. Following the success of the 12 unit apartment which completed in 1995, Ujung Pelangi Sdn. Bhd. purchased more land and developed more quality residential properties with outstanding layouts on Penang Island like Codrington Avenue, Jalan D.S. Ramanathan, Balik Pulau bungalows and the apartment block at Mount Erskine.

Symbolically, the rainbow has been used to symbolise a new beginning in some parts of the world. Thus same as Ujung Pelangi which means the edge of the rainbow symbolises a new beginning in life where Ujung Pelangi plays a part to build the dream home you have always dreamed of.
