Telok Air Tawar is an integrated development located in the Penang mainland town of Butterworth. Though much of the residential and commercial developments within appear to be recent, the older wooden structure and “atap” roof homes are a telling sign of its past and age.

In stark contrast to the aged wooden homes, Telok Air Tawar has seen a transformation, with the establishment of a gated and guarded neighbourhood of 3-storey terrace homes. Telok Air Tawar is within proximity to Jalan Teluk Air Tawar, which is the main road running through the town. As such, Telok Air Tawar is accessible to the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR), which leads to the town centre of Butterworth about 15 minutes away. Other than that, Seberang Perai is also about an additional 5 minutes from there, where access to the first Penang bridge and also the North-South Expressway (NSE) is also possible.
