Double Green Residence is a housing development in Bandar Lahat Baru, Ipoh. Launched in 2016, it taps into the demand of houses due to the industrial areas around, for example Kawasan Perindustrian Lahat, Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan 2 and Kawasan Perindustrian Ringan Menglembu Timur.

When completed, the Double Green Residence will offer 143 units of 2-storey terrace homes. By itself, Phase 1 has 53 units of 4-bedrooms and 3-bathroom homes, and a built-up size of 1,600sf. Interior layouts are pretty linear, making for easy furniture placement and a smooth traffic flow through the house.

There is a car porch for 2 cars in front leading to the living, dining and dry kitchen, and finally to the wet kitchen at the back, which is built right up to the back boundary. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, a small family hall and a balcony opening off the master bedroom. Corner units come with an additional balcony at the side.

The Double Green Residence in Bandar Lahat is located off Jalan Pasir Puteh, a thoroughfare in Ipoh linking to other major neighbourhoods and towns like the Lahat industrial area, Lahat town centre, and Stesen 18. Thus, many basic lifestyle and commercial amenities like eateries, pharmacies, banks, as well as shopping malls (for example Tesco Station 18, AEON Station 18 and AEON Midtown Falim), can be found within an 8km radius.

Double Green Residence is also considered moderately near to Ipoh’s town centre, as it is about 15km away. If residents are willing to drive further, the town centre has a good number of well-known schools and hospitals, as well as F&B and entertainment outlets. Overall, if you’re looking for a simple, affordable and accessible place to stay in this area for work, the Double Green Residence is a good option, and a worthy addition to the property market of Ipoh.
