Skyvilla @ D’Island is set in the heart of the D’Island residential estate in Puchong. Keeping with the resort-like atmosphere of the estate, which is surrounded almost entirely by lakes, Skyvilla’s two 17-storey blocks contain just 352 residential units, making it an idyllic low-density property. The Skyvilla units, overlooking the scenic waterfront, come with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each, with built-up areas ranging from 1,026 sf to 1,218 sf. Type A1 and A2 have a compact yet functional layout, with one kitchen and a terrace or balcony opening off the living room, while Type B1, B2 and B3 have dry and wet kitchens, as well as a terrace or balcony that spans the living and dining areas. All main entrance doors of the Skyvilla units are fire-rated, while the floors of most of the spaces – including the foyer, living, dining, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms – are finished with tiles. Bathroom walls are tiled up to ceiling height, while kitchen walls are tiled up to a height of 1.8m. Nature is interspersed throughout Skyvilla’s layout in the form of pocket gardens, a linear garden and a community garden, enhancing the impression of an island resort. The building also has over 30 facilities spread over several levels. On the 1st level, there are entertainment facilities targeted at younger residents, such as game rooms and a kindergarten. The 2nd and 3rd floor encompass facilities with a fitness theme, including an indoor gym, meditation room, yoga or dancing studio, jogging track, tai-chi and aerobic deck, outdoor gym, swimming pools, a badminton court-cum-multipurpose hall, and a futsal and half-basketball court. Skyvilla’s roof top level is where more communal facilities can be found, like a playground and BBQ pits. While the Skyvilla units might be priced higher than some other units in Puchong with a similar built-up area, buyers who favour the island resort feel of Skyvilla and the D’Island estate development may consider the price difference worth it. Skyvilla is also located close to the Puchong Financial Corporate Centre (PFCC) and the Bandar Puteri commercial area, in addition to hypermarkets, schools, shopping malls, medical centres and even tourist or recreation spots. Getting around from D’Island to other townships and cities is not difficult. Residents can pick from several highways and main roads; within just about 20 minutes, one can reach places like Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya and Bukit Jalil.
