Taman Desaminium is a urban development located within Bandar Putra Permai, close to Lestari Perdana and Lestari Putra. As the township is situated just a stone’s throw away from the Air Hitam landfill, which was formerly a rubbish dumpsite used to treat over a million tonnes of waste, residents were unhappy and claimed the bad smell lingered even after dark. The residents were also frustrated with the management as they had to pay a maintenance fee for facilities that were not ready for them. Initial plans showed that two apartments in Taman Desaminium were actually marketed as resort condominiums due to a long list of facilities that the developer wanted to provide. However, the facilities were not completed and they were labeled as apartments instead.
