The units are sized at about 463 sf, which may not be able to comfortably fit a family of more than 3 people. Taman Teluk Kumbar does not provide any facilities other than a parking lot, given its low-cost concept. There are also no elevator services nor security surveillance.
Taman Teluk Kumbar apartment units are priced at an affordable RM70,000, though its initial launching price may have been even lower. Rental is also at an acceptable rate of around RM500 per month.

Georgetown and other towns north of Teluk Kumbar like Jelutong and Gelugor are also accessible via Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway.
