The nearby shopping malls, Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon along Gurney Drive also provide amenities and entertainment to residents, such as hypermarkets, department stores, a cinema, and loads more.
The convenient location of Taman Batu Bukit is accredited to the many roads and lanes that make the property accessible to and from other parts of the city and Penang. These roads are mainly Jalan Tanjung Tokong which leads to Tanjung Bungah and Batu Ferringhi up north, while connecting to roads like Jalan Bagan Jermal, Jalan Burmah, and Jalan Kelawai will give residents access to Gurney Drive and Georgetown. However, this advantage of being close to key locations on the island also has its downside as traffic congestion will be a problem that residents may have to face daily, even more so on weekends and public holidays.
Hence, units at Taman Batu Bukit may not be most appealing to those who work in Bayan Lepas or the mainland due to the traffic, but given its different pros and cons, it might be a property worth considering if you are looking for affordability and convenience of amenities, as units on the market are for sale at around RM299,999. Such a price is considerably affordable given its prime location in Tanjung Tokong and built-up size that is not too small. Rental units can be found at monthly rentals of RM800 per month, hence the property may not be worth investing in if you are looking for high rental yields. The homes may likely be more suitable for young adults or small families looking to own their first home.
