Within walking distance of the apartment, there are other amenities like schools – SJK (C) Sin Kang, SK Seri Indah, SK Sri Aman and Chung Ling Private High School, just to name a few – and the Sunshine Farlim Shopping Centre; there is also a night market in Farlim, about 2km from the apartment.
Georgetown is considerably near the property, just slightly more than 5km, while the Penang Bridge can be reached in about 15 to 20 minutes by car from Desa Mawar. For those who travel using public transportation, Rapid Penang buses are readily available in the vicinity, giving residents access to ample infrastructure and facilities in the Georgetown and Bayan Lepas area like the Penang International Airport, hospitals, schools, retail outlets, offices, in addition to more schools and tertiary education institutions.
Thus, although the residential units of Desa Mawar can be said to be rather compact, smaller families looking for an affordable and convenient location to live near their workplaces in Georgetown and its surrounding townships would do well to consider the Desa Mawar apartment.
