Skyville 8 is a project that was previously known as Benteng 8. It is an upcoming serviced apartment located on the famed street of Old Klang Road in south of Petaling Jaya, sited on the land of an old factory. Skyville 8 is a development that has harboured mixed reviews from the community, with the first being its original name that many made fun of which probably resulted in the change of its name. Secondly, Skyville 8 was supposed to have first been launched in the year 2011. As of the year 2014, Skyville 8 was still being launched with there being no progress on site. This situation understandably made buyers wary of the developer, especially as the owners and developers of the land are the owners of the previous factory building that stood on this parcel of land. Nevertheless, Skyville 8 still attracts much attention with its many different layouts of which many of the units will have views of the Klang River which runs through its back. In addition, all the units here are designed to be a corner unit. Potential residents who practice Feng Shui will also be elated to find that the layout of SkyVille 8 is infused with Feng Shui concepts such as west-facing units which supposedly allows the house to tap into the gentle homogenous earth energy. Skyville 8 is a centrally located serviced apartment on a prime parcel of land. Residents of Skyville 8 will enjoy unsurpassed access to Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) minutes from their home with Federal Highway on the other end of Old Klang Road. Navigating to Cheras is also of the utmost convenience as with the Salak South Highway lying in this direction. Getting to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre will take only 20 minutes on a clear road, while the famed Mid Valley Megamall is only 10 minutes away. Down the other side of Old Klang Road future residents of Skyville 8 will be able to get to Bandar Sunway and Sunway Pyramid is less than 15 minutes.
