Menara AmMetLife is formerly known as Bangunan AmAssurance. This commercial building is situated along the northern side of Jalan Lumut, which is approximately 0.5km off Jalan Raja Laut and Jalan Ipoh intersection. Due to its strategic location, Menara AmMetLife is accessible via Jalan Pahang and Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. From here, Kuala Lumpur city centre is just 4km to 4.5km away - depending on which route you use i.e. Jalan Kuching or Jalan Raja Laut.
Bear in mind that traffic here is not as smooth, so if you are one of those people who prefer to commute via public transport, monorails and LRT stations, as well as Pekeliling Bus Station is just walking distance from the building.
There is an alternative method to get to KL city centre while avoiding the heavy traffic during peak hours. You can walk to Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), which will take around 12 minutes, and commute to KL Sentral. There is also monorail station nearby - Chow Kit. Travelling there by foot takes about 8 minutes.
Apart from its location, here is what you need to know about the place. This 20-storey office building has a range of built-up sizes, approximately from 1,000 sf to 100,000 sf. Most of the office space available here are fully-furnished.
Each floor is serviced by 6 elevators. There are 4 levels of car park bays, which consist of more than 300 parking spaces. To add, an open car park that can fit about 300 cars is also made available. Even with that being said, there is no guarantee that you will get a spot because most executives in the city drive to work. So, be prepared.
Since it is situated in a busy district, many amenities are within easy reach. Menara AmMetLife is surrounded by eateries, which means one will never be hungry here. In addition, there is also 7-11 convenience store and Speedmart 99 for your daily convenience. Hospital and hotels are also located next to the area.
In terms of safety of the building, Menara AmMetLife has 24-hour security with CCTV monitoring. On top of that, there is also
a fire fighting system and generator set available, in the case of emergency.
