Amongst some of the more affordable neighbourhoods in Petaling Jaya is PJS 3, a residential development located within PJ South. Although most of the adjacent neighbourhoods tout low-cost to mid-range homes, the landed properties in PJS 3 are more well-suited to the upper middle income group.
The neighbourhood consists mainly of landed property of which most the houses are quite well taken care of, while there is also a low-cost apartment on the edge of the development that is popular with those from the lower income bracket for its central location.
