Fair Park is a township that is located in Ipoh, and is otherwise known as Taman Fair. The township comes with both residential and commercial components, creating an ideal mix of developments for a self-sustainable township.
Fair Park is in fact a very well matured township and is home to its own schools and medical facilities. For primary school goers whose parents wish for them to attend a school within the neighbourhood, there is Sekolah Kebangsaan Cator Avenue, Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Kinta and Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Kepayang.
Continuing their studies into high school the students are also blessed with several secondary schools within the vicinity. There is Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Intan Fair Park, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Anderson and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sri Intan.
For those who wish for a more holistic education, their parents will have a choice of sending their offspring to Sekolah Rendah Islam Ta'lim Nurul Jannah. Also in the area is the YWAN Discipleship Training School.
As for those who wish to pursue their tertiary education within Ipoh, close to Fair Park is also the Perak College Of Technology, Perak College of Medicine and Universiti KL Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP). In lieu of medical facilities, close to home is the Unit Kecemasan Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh and Ipoh Hospital.
Due to the proximity of Fair Park to the many facilities and amenities within the township, the homes in Fair Park are commonly turned into rental properties. A small room within a terrace house can cost about RM300, while the rental of the entire house can cost about RM1,200. For renters who are looking for a family home, there are even some owners who rent out their semi-detached houses for up to RM1,600 a month.
In fact, home buyers will be able to find every type of landed property available for their choosing in Fair Park, whether it is a terrace home, semi-detached house or bungalow. The entry price for the homes is also very affordable, depending on what type of house the buyer is seeking.
