Idamansara is an up and coming residential neighbourhood located in Lahad Datu, Sabah. Designed with tranquility in mind, the landed homes sit on elevated ground amidst serene greenery, ensuring peaceful living.
The leasehold terrace and semi-detached homes are designed with family-living in mind. Phase 1 of Idamansara has been completed, with terraces and semi-detached units within Idamansara. The 2-storey terrace homes are 2,000 sf in built-up space, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. They will also have their own backyards, a luxury of land not only available to the semi-detached homes. The 2.5-storey terraces are larger at 2,430 sf, offering 4+1 rooms and 4 bathrooms. The semi-detached homes on the other hand, also come in 2-storey and 2.5-storey variants. The former has a built-up space of 3,000 sf and 4+1 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The latter is 3,200 sf in size with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The outdoor spaces of the homes allow for some fun family time together, whether it’s having barbecues on the weekends or teaching the young ones how to plant saplings.
As for now, the launch prices of the terraces have yet to be announced, but the 2-storey semi-detached units are available for sale at prices beginning from RM729,000. Based on that, the terraces are expected to be somewhere lower or around that price as well.
Plans for Phase 2 of Idamansara have also been tentatively laid out, with more double-storey terraces, 2.5-storey terraces and 2-storey semi-detacheds.The terraces are now available for registration, offering 34 units of the 2-storey types sized at 2,183 sf with 3+1 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Prices of these units begin from RM464,200 followed by the 2.5-storey type at RM700,000. The larger variant is 3,195 sf with only 8 units available, with 4+1 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Residents of Idamansara will also have the benefit of enjoying facilities at the neighbourhood clubhouse, where there is a sizeable swimming pool that parents and children alike would love to spend their free time at. Residents can also be assured peace of mind, with Idamansara being a gated and guarded community.
Reach of amenities from Idamasara will require a short drive along Jalan Segama into the town of Lahad Datu. Petrol stations and some automotive repair shops are located along the road heading towards the core of Lahad Datu. In town, amenities like supermarkets, restaurants, eateries, clinics, banks and more can be found. There are also markets where fresh seafood, dried goods and poultry meat can be acquired. Schools in Lahad Datu include SK Bikang, SK St. Stephen Lahad Datu, and SMK Silabukan. Hospital Lahad Datu is the nearest hospital from the neighbourhood.
Accessibility to and from Idamansara is by Jalan Segama just outside the property gates. The town of Lahad Datu is about 10 minutes away while The Lahad Datu Airport is also in town, where there are domestic flights to and from Kota Kinabalu on a daily basis, served by the MASwings regional airline. Driving to Kota Kinabalu is possible, but will take a long journey of more than 5 hours via Jalan Ranau-Sandakan which leads through the inland of Sabah.
