About Bukit Jalil

Properties for Sale in Bukit Jalil

Bukit Jalil is known for its connectivity via numerous highways and the National Sports Stadium.

It is a large, affluent suburb located just beside the heavily populated township of Puchong. This area offers a mix of homes ranging from landed properties to mixed developments with malls and other commercial areas. The location of Bukit Jalil is an ideal one as it is connected with many highways.

The area was called Ladang Bukit Jalil, a 1,800-acre estate that contained a rubber plantation. However, it was acquired by the government for the construction of a world-class sports complex that hosted the 1998 Commonwealth Games. After the Commonwealth Games ended, Bukit Jalil briefly turned into a deserted town. Shortly after, real estate developers started purchasing large tracts of land for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, quickly transforming the area into a flourishing and highly desirable place to live in. A couple of fun facts are that it's a popular location that people from Melaka and Seremban often choose to move to and that the movie Entrapment starring Sean Connery was shot here.

Connectivity means traffic congestion. This is a major issue during peak hours, as the throngs of residents from Puchong share the same access route. Bukit Jalil however remains a popular investment area with many more developments including shopping malls in the pipeline and of course, great food options. The large recreational park in the area helps too!

Bukit Jalil is also home to several higher education institutions such as International Medical University, Technology Park Malaysia, and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation. Pavillion Bukit Jalil and Aurora Place Bukit Jalil make shopping within the neighbourhood a convenient affair.

The public transport within Bukit Jalil is strategically connected to other parts of the Klang Valley. This is via the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP) and Puchong–Sungai Besi Highway. It is also accessible via the KESAS Highway, Maju Expressway, MEX Highway, and New Pantai Expressway (NPE). It is served by the Sri Petaling Line, Bukit Jalil LRT station, and Sri Petaling LRT station.

Bukit Jalil is perfect for families who want the luxury of space while being close to the city and students who study in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.
